Description:
The area covered
by this geoid estimate is -56 ° <
lat < -21°, -75° < lon
< -53° with grid spacing of 1.5'
x 1.5'. The computation is based on the
remove-restore technique, using the high
resolution digital terrain model SRTM90m
for the topographic reduction and the
new EIGEN-GL04C geopotential model. The
solution has been obtained in one step
only over the whole area using the FFT
estimation method.
Data are in meters, stored
in an ASCII file, in grd format,
parallelwise from N to S and from W to
E.
