Description:
This gravimetric geoid represents the collocation solution based on AGMASCO airborne point data (see also http://agmasco.gfz-potsdam.de/) and 9 points of the UEGN94 absolute gravimetric network, surrounding the Skagerrak area. The geoid was computed by applying the remove-restore technique using the EGM96 global geopotential model up to degree and order 360. A stable estimation of residual geoid undulations was achieved by regularization based on the misclosure principle and Poisson kernel without zero degree spherical harmonics. The geoid heights are referred to the WGS84 ellipsoid and they are given in the usual format (phi, lambda, geoid height) with a grid resolution of 3'x3' (56.5° < lat. < 58.95°; 6.25 ° < long. < 10.9°).
